Hey everyone! So, in the past two weeks there has been a LOT of improvement! On thursday July 16th, I got to sing in Erie, PA with the band 60 Inch Slick (and man, what a band!) in front of over 30,000 people and for the first time EVER, I got to perform my 4 demo songs witha LIVE band! It was so amazing! Once i got on that stage with the band and all those people around, I couldn't help but put my game face on! And I really connected with the lead guitar/singer, Ralph. He has such a presence on the stage that i couldn't help but interact with him!
Including where to practice and getting everything that we needed in order to make the performace top quality. We were actualy singing at the Roar on the Shore Bike Rally! Then, on Saturday the 18th, We got to perform again at the Roar on the Shore Bike Rally! It was a little shilly and a little drizzle was coming down, but hey, the show MUST go on! haha! Despite the weather, 60 Inch Slick STILL put on an amazing show and everyone stayed and enjoyed the show :) (even if they got a little wet!) I look forward to working with 60 Inch slick again in the future! They were a riot! Ralph, the lead guitar/singer, is the sweetest guy i have ever met! Ricky (aka Harry Potter) is a little bit quiter but has a GREAT sense of humor! Then there is Paul (aka Spyder), with his blue mohawk, ha is super funny and easy going. I STILL wonder if he changes the color of his mohawk! Dan, the keyboard/acoustic player, he loves to be around people and make new friends. And last but definately not least, *Animal* the drummer, He is very VERY passionate about his drumming. Making sure that every beat is perfectly on place.
I had so much fun this past two weeks and i can't wait to get started up again! Hope to hear from all of you fans out there!
Love Always, Laura |

Okay, So I have to let you all know what is going on!!! Jamie and I have really been hitting it off. She is so amazing! I just went to Nashville on the 9th of June and has so much going on! I sang at a showcase at the Nashville Palace and rocked the place with my guitar players for the evening Donny Geyer and Danny Heflin. I also got the privilege of getting to go back stage of Jamies concert! She was singing as well as Jo Dee Messina and they both did remarkably :) I also met with Mr. Peter Keiser who is the main man of Cracker Barrel Promotions :) He listened to my demo and loved it! Then he suggested some management and label names! Everything is going so well! I would like to thank my Mom and my Dad for doing all of this for me and for standing behind me every step of the way :) More coming soon!!!! |

Listen to this! I had an interview on Ashtabulas 98.3 "The Bull" country station. The two DJ's on the show are Roger McCoy and Sconey. They are two of the NICEST men that I have ever met! during the interview we talked about Nashville Star and about how great of an experience it was to be on the show. We also talked about my new single from my demo "Place in the Sun". Now, Roger had mentioned that he wanted to play one of my songs on the show. But, to my suprise, he played all FOUR songs! It was AMAZING! People were commenting on how they loved the songs and that they feel I have remarkable talent! It felt so good to hear people speak so highly of me! Now, Roger has my single "Place in the Sun" in his rotation on the station! Hopefully you will be hearing it on a station near you! So, keep a look out for Laura Fedor's first single "Place in the Sun"!! |

Hey Everyone! I would like to tell you about my wonderful experience that I just had in Tennessee! As you all know, Jamie O’Neal had asked me to come down and record in her studio. So, on March 25, 2008, my Mom and I packed our suitcases and headed down. I met with Jamie and her husband Rodney on the 26th, to talk about what would be going on and how we would go about recording my demo. All the musicians were there and I was so excited to meet them all! We listened to each song and they picked up the tune so quickly! Within ten minutes of listening to the song, they were already starting to record the instrumentals! It was amazing! While we were recording the instrumentals, Jamie was upstairs with CMT’s “CMT Cribs”. They were taping her and her home that day so we had to work around that. After all of the songs were recorded, the musicians all left and Rodney got to work. He is seriously the hardest worker I have EVER seen! Then my mom and I left and went back to the hotel. The next day, we started recording my vocals. I sang for a few hours straight before I got some good takes on the first two songs. Jamie said I cut my vocals fast! But I thought I was taking forever! Ha! Then, once again, Rodney kicked into high gear and worked until real late. Now, I know he was working really hard because when we came back the next day, he had one of the songs almost completely done! That day, we recorded my vocals for the second two songs. Again, I sang for hours! My voice even got a little tired and cracked once but I didn’t give up. While my mom and I were down there, we definitely went shopping! Jamie even took us to some of her favorite stores! We also hung out with my best friends, Pearl Heart and their family. Now, if you all don’t know Pearl Heart, they were one of the other contestants on Nashville Star. And I suggest you go look them up because they are amazing! We had dinner with them and discussed how our lives were. Now, me and my mom ate at a LOT of restaurants while we were there. But the best by far was a place called “Vittles”. It is located at 4936 Thoroughbred Ln, Brentwood. Great country cooking! Now, we were supposed to come home on March 31st. But, Jamie had a show on the 1st of April and asked me to stay and get up on stage for a song! So we stayed and went to her show. She sang at Third and Lindsley in downtown Nashville. She was not the only singer though. Her sister Mini Murphey had an amazing performance, along with Stephanie Bentley. I sang one of my new songs from my demo CD and people really seemed to like it! If you would like to see it, go to HERE. I hope you all stay tuned and listen for more from me! Please keep me in your prayers! |
