Laura Fedor IS IN!So in case you didn't watch the show, Laura Fedor has fullfilled one of her dreams - she has made it as one of the finalists on NBC's Nashville Star. Both her and Sophie Zalokar as a duet have beat out some 45,000 auditions and have made it to the top 12! Since Laura is completely incommunicado for hopefully the duration of the show I will, her dad, from time to time blog something. To Laura: Mom & Dad love you very much and are proud beyond words. 
Unfortunately Laura was unable to her attend her high school graduation commencement due to the timelines demanded by NBC so as a result we came up with an alternate solution. We shipped down Laura's graduation cap and gown to NBC and had a picture taken of her in it. We then got the picture back and had a life-sized poster of her created. Our initial intentions were to have the poster-Laura carried on stage by her friends to receive her diploma, but sadly was shot down by the high school board. So, my wife and I took 'Laura' to the ceremony and with a few of her friends had a simple little celebration. It was sad that Laura could not be there for her graduation day but hey what can you do? You can't be at two once-in-a-lifetime events at the same time. Rock on little girl! Gabe Fedor |

Good day my friends! I am sorry for the long break in between blogs! I have been so busy doing everything i do! Ha Ha! Everything with the band is going GREAT and i have a show tomorrow (Saturday May 3rd) at the Players Club in Eastlake. I have been working really hard on making it into a singing career and i would like to thank everyone for keeping me in their prayers and for supporting me as much as you all do. Over this past weekend i traveled to Nashville with my Mom, my Best friend Sophie and herMom to audition for the new reality show "Can You Duet?". We made it past the first audition and then had to sing infront of the cameras! I have to say that the cameras were very bright! Sophie and I both got a little nervous over the fact that this audition determined if we were on a TV show or not. But we pulled it all together and did GREAT! Now, We will be finding out in about two weeks or so. So, I will be letting you all know as soon as i find out!

I would just like to say that i hope everyone had a happy holiday! I was sick for the beginning of it but it was still great! Yesterday was my 18th Birthday! Also, i want to rmind you of my next show which is tommorow saturday January 5th. Have a good weekend! |
